BCOMblogger.com: Blogger.com (Finally) Finishes Future Posting
Mark 'Rizzn' Hopkins about BCOMblogger.com...

Paul talked about it back in February, but it’s finally here. The feature that users of Moveable Type and WordPress have been enjoying for a quite a while now, future posting, is now available to all users on Blogger’s platform for standalone sites as well as BlogSpot.com accounts. The announcement was made on Blogger Buzz today:
Scheduled post publishing, which we talked about testing on Blogger in draft last month, is now live for everyone. If you set a post’s date into the future, Blogger will wait to publish until that time comes.
Have you ever wanted to announce something on a certain date but knew you wouldn’t be at a computer to make a post? Or you wanted to keep posting regularly but knew you’d be on vacation for a few weeks? Scheduled post publishing is here to help you out.
The feature is especially useful for bloggers that deal with press embargoes on a regular basis - allowing you to write up the event ahead of time and have it post at embargo time, without worrying about staying up until 1 AM Pacific time and hit the publish button.

It’s shocking that this particular function wasn’t thrown into Blogger at some point previous to this, but now that this little chunk of functionality is finished, I can only hope it’s a sign of new functions to come.
